No, but, on a more serious note:
having places to discuss things in more serious tones is valuable. this is how we get work done.
comedy and playfulness is valuable. I'd never deny that.
with that being said, we all need situations or avenues for indulging our more intellectual sides. people are going to be extremely reactive with you when you show attempts to compromise those capacities.
please just have a little more respect for some of us venturing away from shitposting. it's fun! don't get me wrong. i love me some good shitposts and if you don't see that from me yet, you're kidding yourself.
please just try to respect other people putting effort in to things. it's enjoyable and sometimes it's just as enjoyable as fucking with each other.
People who think we didn't go to the moon in the face of the overwhelming evidence are as retarded as people who think the earth is flat. They deserve the same respect as the shit I wipe off my asshole after a round of speed chess on the toilet.
