Now that you say this I see it, my screenshot garbage app on my garbage system has managed to come up with different colors than what I can see "live" through the browser
Probably the compression algo for png restricted to 256 or web colors idk

PNG uses a lossless compression.
I think your app’s engine might be capturing and compressing in jpg before saving into another format.
