No man that lacks confidence will take risks.
"Take more risks." is entirely useless advice without a foundation for confidence.

Going out and attempting to take risks is pointless unless you first work on discipline. Once you've created foundational discipline within yourself, then you will be capable of finding the confidence within yourself to muster a particular risk.

Is it going well, or are you learning by trying to teach?
Just don't think this is me talking about how small you look, as that's a method I much prefer myself. I think it has something to do with my irrationally avoiding becoming a hypocrite, although it still seeps through now and again.

Good points, I always appreciate your comments because you seem to think things through and offer useful counterpoints.

The older I get the more I realize that there is no point in this life in simply going through the motions, you need to actively attempt to implement your vision of how things should be upon reality.

Passivity and cowardice are terrible sins that often unspoken and subsequently not thought about, but they are the root of much evil in this world.

I've improved myself in these categories over the years, but I still have much to learn.

Hopefully we will all be able to make this journey together.

They tell me the secret is certainty.

Hopefully we will all be able to make this journey together.

Oh, but TK, we are, right now.
I'm fully aware of how dull you aren't, TK. I'm not sure how you miss things like this...

We have two choices here, collectively: we cross the humbling river together, lest we be doomed to solitude, unmoved, subjugated to the side we began this journey on.
