I've eaten a dog treat before or I bit off a bit to see what it would taste like I should say. Milk bone type (simple ones) - It's basically like a grain taste (boring like a regular grain or something like that - hard to explain) or whatever. People have to do what they have to do to survive sometimes. Don't look down on them or really care, but yes that would be terrible or horrible though. If I had to in case of a SHTF scenario and all that was left was dog food. I'd probably pick up a few bags just in case. Most of it is just pretty boring in taste, but if I can get nutrients from it to survive I wouldn't mind it that much I guess. As long as it won't make me sick. ----- I could review probably 90% of the dog food items out there to see what they taste like.
