Flying means being in a constant free fall fighting against gravity, just like earth orbiting satellites.

Gravity has not been proven. It's a theory not a law.

Reeeee

No reeeeeing involved, just stating verifiable facts.

Acceleration due to gravity is assumed by many to be: 9.8m/s2

But its not !!!!!!!!!

People are easily duped. .

I really shouldn't say much about this, but...
The word is magnetism.

I mean technically they glide right?

Asshole was trying to disprove flat earth theory, asked why polar bears weren't eating all the penguins.

I told him that since penguins were birds, with wings, they could just fly away.

Some people don't understand logic.

Encyclopedias from the fifties tell us there is a firmament.

so basically they push down the Earth each time and move around then or something like that?

definition of flying

one definition - flying - moving or able to move through the air with wings.

----- or this definition

flying - done while hurling oneself through the air. - so penguins can technically fly then?

Flying: generating more lift force (up) than weight force (down) while in air.

Penguins cannot fly in air. They can "fly" in water. Strictly speaking, air and water are both fluids, so anything that applies to moving in water should also apply to air.
