No, it is. It's maybe a tiny bit bigger 'cause of a microscopic layer that's been added in the past week as the mass picks up dust.
It's just an elliptical orbit, so it appears bigger.
The ol' moon is actually moving away from us at something like 6cm per year.
I know what you mean - but I figured I'd have fun with it. It's technically a wee bit bigger but you can't detect that with the naked eye or any sensing equipment we currently have. The moon adds like 0.01mm to its size per year, as it picks up random bits of space dust.

Like I said, I knew what you meant but I figured I'd have some fun with it. Someday, many years from now, our moon will be so distant that she finally leaves our orbit for good.
