I did the bundle with Hulu and Espn+ (I had the basic Hulu package anyways), so it comes to 12.99 a month. The Hulu and my Amazon Prime video was a pretty good, so adding this Disney will give a lot more options. The kids will like the selection for sure. The only other thing I watch is baseball, which is available via r/mlbstreams. I don't even bother with over the air TV, but that is something that might help your mom.
Cable is a rip off for sure. For me now, my monthly bill will be internet $50, Prime $10, and the Hulu/Disney bundle $13.00. $73 a month isn't bad. I use the Amazon Prime music streaming a lot too, so that is an added value there.
If you run uBlock Origin on chrome it will skip the Hulu ads.
I did watch The Mandalorian last night. It was decent.
