Honestly, not a lot to this. Nine episodes of 300 greedy people with poor money management skills killing each other off for money. It is one of the most predictable shows I have ever seen. It is obvious who the winner is, how the villains get what's coming to them, the constant backstabbing, who is running the whole thing, and the whole thing is for the 1% to watch the lesser people kill each other off for their entertainment because having so much money is boring. It's bloody, but not gore. It's not a horror movie, more of a thriller.
Normally I would say the kills are the only thing worth watching but it's not. The last episode is the old bastard confessing on his death bed and just spelling it out the ultra rich uses common people as their playthings. The winner turns into a "moral" person vs the sponge is normally was before the game, opening up the likelihood of a second series.
In all fairness, the show does have some good actors and you can get interested in the story since it is an interesting concept. The cop who infiltrates the game as a staff member manages to transmit evidence to his boss and that the game has been going on for a couple of decades. So another storyline that could result in a second series.
Rating: C+ Worth watching if you already have Netflix but I wouldn't waste time downloading it if you don't.
