Weird. Just noticed their new app change just now. I guess they wanted to remove White so they made it a diarrhea brown. I Uninstalled it. They could've made it blue like their truck but no they instead need to make a point.

Holy crap! I didn't even notice. It's gone now.

Imagine the message it would send if everyone did.

Sadly their store isn't the big money maker for them anymore as most of their shekels these days come from their web services (AWS). So if you really want them to go broke, you'd have to get everyone to stop using that as well, which is even more unlikely as a fair chunk of other globohomo companies use their services. We're at a point where it'll take nothing short of a massive revolution to stop this corporatocracy.

With that said, it's still a good idea to do your part and boycott amazon and get others in on it.

This is a great fucking article dude. As far as music goes.

If you are into collecting physical music it's hundreds of tiny vendors. You can read about which pressings are better and find ultra rare stuff usually for a bargain.

I had the hardest time cutting the Amazon cord because I really enjoyed the Kindle Unlimited feature. I still haven't found a replacement for it so I find myself reading a hell of a lot less than I used to, but using my local library a lot more.

What's an "Amazon"? Like the jungle?

My wife has an Amazon Prime account for "reasons". My revenge is to order things that are $5-$10 now and then that Prime ships overnight instead of walking 1/2 mile to the store. The cheapest rate FedEx has for overnight of a small package is $15.71.

Except that Bezos has negotiated a steep discount with USPS, UPS, FedEx, etc. The end result is that we the taxpayers are picking up the tab for the shortfall with the USPS, and regular customers of the other services are subsidizing Amazon as well.

Bezos is not losing money.

They ship via FedEx where you live? I've never heard of that before.
