As a young Marine, I was under a lot of pressure to get tattooed. At least the eagle, globe and anchor. I'm still glad I resisted the pressure. Most of the guys in the Marines with a lot of tats were usually what we referred to as "shit-burgs." There were some jobs that one couldn't get if they had tattoos that were visible in any uniform. Like Embassy Duty.

...I got a bunch of tats during my 8 years in the Corps. Don't regret any of them because I earned them...my IQ is high and I have led a good life thus far...kind of breaks the bullshit narrative set forth by the author of this cunty post.
