Til you said it I didn't realize that is exactly how it should be worded. looking deeper it appears that after season 2 (1995) ]director Kim Manners joined the team (he directed golem ep in season 4)
he directed a ton of episodes after that
this episode is from season 2. could explain something. they snuck it in because no one had ti-vo in 1994
