6 packs is implausible. It's possible to smoke max 2 packs.

120 cigarettes is totally doable you just have to believe in yourself and also spend 7 to 10 hours smoking, and then not end up barfing in a shower.

6 packs a day is not implausible for the time. 20 cigarettes in a pack times 6 packs is 120 cigs. 16 hours awake times 60 minutes is 960 minutes. Divide that by 120 cigs and you have one every 8 minutes. In an environment where you could smoke anywhere and anytime, this is not implausible.

He was a known heavy smoker until he had one lung taken out however that didn’t stop the spread. We lost many good actors from smoking related cancer.
