Sorry for the late reply, but I just ran to the hardware store to buy a new shade of paint called, "SloppySeconds."
It's not very bright, but it's cheap and it spreads easily...

I have no independant way of producing light, so your assessment there is accurate.
And I am pretty cheap so, again, correct.
