Vitamins are short term items. They dont last long term.
not necessarily,
talked about here: https://theprovidentprepper.org/shelf-life-of-vitamin-supplements-in-a-survival-food-supply/
some tests: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6451478/
some have important uses, like folic acid
Your links support me, the second one is pretty irrelevant. Of course under ideal conditions they last longer. They are by no definition long term items.
You only said "short term", so you didn't make a point to support or not...
First link: "the vitamins would gradually lose potency but I believe you could depend on reasonable potency at least 10 to 15 years in cool, dry, and dark storage conditions."
Second link: look at the graphs, serval years dependant on type.
You are missing the point, pharmacies will be looted, barter will be the only way to obtain this item
Unless, like my original point, buy them now instead of barter items. As an aside, not sure if you or someone else said c and a were hard to get, Dandelion greens can be eaten cooked or raw and serve as an excellent source of vitamins A, C and K
