You only said "short term", so you didn't make a point to support or not...
First link: "the vitamins would gradually lose potency but I believe you could depend on reasonable potency at least 10 to 15 years in cool, dry, and dark storage conditions."
Second link: look at the graphs, serval years dependant on type.
You are missing the point, pharmacies will be looted, barter will be the only way to obtain this item
Unless, like my original point, buy them now instead of barter items. As an aside, not sure if you or someone else said c and a were hard to get, Dandelion greens can be eaten cooked or raw and serve as an excellent source of vitamins A, C and K

my usage case was 'if people are struggling to grow food' a normal diet doesn't require any of this, apart from the folic acid usage
Actually I think dandelions may have folic also but to lazy to look it up, I know they have alot more than I said. Im in Tx, no cool storage, no water in most places to grow food. Dirt sucks also in many places. Im pretty realistic (and being old doesnt hurt) Once preps run out its what you can kill. Sure I got vitamins and will have no problem eating them till gone.
But in know way do they qualify as long term storage item.
