Watching the “Troubled Water” episode from the Rotten documentary on Netflix.
The episode paints Nestle as the bad guy, for good reason.
Half way through the episode the focus on the city Lagos in Nigeria. Nigeria became independent from British rule in 1960. The infrastructure quickly deteriorated soon after, now they drink polluted water that they have to walk far for.
Nestle started selling their clean water in bottles to the middle class, now they have a garbage problem, with the bottles eventually flowing out to the ocean.
They used to have water treatment plants but most were shut down due to neglect. They finally built another with some Italian company, and hired non Africans to manage it.
This just proves that blacks aren’t smart enough to rule and provide for their own.
