Cuz batteries are chemical. Its like an energy cell. Aether energy is from electro magnetic fields surrounding us at all times and slowly collected over large areas. Battery is condensed potential electrical energy but stored chemically, as a kinda bad explination. Just two different things.

@zacchaeus kinda thought about making a big freakin whole post about this, but for now just a chat comment. freaks who yell about you on youtube. like SCREAM. i can't stand people who yell, irl or in videos, yelling just makes my spine rattle real hard and it's a sure way to get rid of me fast. good thing people can't yell in just text. anyway.

so there's a whole bunch of vids of freaks on yt SCREAMING about you, cuz it's not like the dead of night and they have neighbors or anything. they might be in their cars (driving in loops and supporting fast 'food', natch), and they repeat key phrases like "ISN'T IT FUNNY" or "IIIIIIISSSZZZZZZZZZZZ" and crap like that.

some ultra spergy general youtubers i just never ever watch because they yell and spaz too much and it triggers me.

seems to be a freak thing, not a human thing. when they get possessed or something, they just can't stop yelling. their eyes glaze over and they become jerking yelling machines that can't stop.

@zacchaeus minor thought, but hey. outward visual design. old computers, old phones, old cars, like stuff when it was first released in its first identifiable form. victorian era tech, 1980s computer tech. things like that. they were blocky and square and had wood panel decor to make them look like furniture. the guts were big and clunky, but you could take them apart and poke around in there, see how they tick.

modern cars and modern computer things are now real slim and sleek and silver. woodpanel and buff gray are gone, now it's sleek, shiny chrome. you can still void the warranty and open them up and clean them out and put them back together.

the OUTSIDES changed. and "cash for clunkers" was to DESTROY perfectly good, nice old cars, phase out old cars, and replace them with ones with weird creepy computer shit that doesn't work right. out with the analog that you could pick apart, in with the weird mysterious black box stuff.

but sometimes, while the outsides are different, are the insides really THAT different? hard to put into words, i'm far from a smart computery person. but i wonder.

@zacchaeus yo I just had a craaaaazy what if. what if... what if... there were actually super ancient dead people from hundreds of years ago buried in my yard or nearby, woooah it could just be possible!! but i'm not gonna go digging or anything. good thing i ain't fraid of no ghost.

who started the meme of "ghosts are inherently scary" anyhow. maybe it's some misdirection thing. the meme imagery of a person seeing a spooky ghost and freaking out, what if they weren't afraid of the ghost, but rather freaking out over having their idea of reality smashed.

It's rained here for the past 4 consecutive days, and I didn't see one single rainbow. it'd rain hard for a few hours, clear up, no rainbows. Sometimes it was sunshowers. no rainbows. @zacchaeus

@zacchaeus if energy is free and comes from the sky and wind or whatever, why do i have to constantly change the batteries on my small appliances all the time >:| something ain't right, here.
