YET ANOTHER MILITARY HOAX, may 2019
B: I was stationed at Marine Barracks Japan Atsugi Detachment from 1988-1990 and stood guard over Atsugi and another base with an underground radio receiving facility called Kamisaya.
B: When I first went to Japan it was myself and 9 other marines a few I went to school of infantry with. One of the guys name was Lamule Freer and "he" is the main player in this hoax.
B: About 4 months before I left Japan Lance Corporal Freer and I was guarding the main gate he at the drive thru and myself at the walk thru. On the main gate fence in clear view was a sign saying NO PARKING IN FRONT OF GATE but sometimes inverted Japanese cab drivers would park and walk up to us to ask directions.
B: On this day a cab driver stopped walked up to Freer but instead of Freer yelling at him and directing him to move his car Freer grabbed the guy, spinning him around and holding his 9mm to his head yelling "I'll blow your fucking brains out!"
B: Immediately a group of other marines on guard ran down to remove Freer and myself from post. As we sat in the guard shack waiting on the Captain to arrive Freer was yelling, "Get fucking Bush on the phone now!"
B: After that day I never seen Freer again. While in the guard shack Freer wasn't handcuffed or anything just sat yelling.
B: The next time I heard about Freer is when I reconnected with the guys I was stationed in Japan with more than 25 years later when I was told Freer joined the skinheads after being kicked out of the marines and blew his own brains out on a firing range.
B: At a reunion in New Orleans a couple years ago the Freer story surfaced again with new imbelishments but I didn't listen. At that time I was already awake and aware of inverts but I went hoping my buddies weren't inverts.
B: Needless to say I was disappointed by their inverted appearance and actions. I could probably write a book on military hoaxes. I did look up the Freer thing a few years back and did find a suicide but can't remember the skinhead thing.
P: wow, this Freer guy looks like someone that would probably be worth discreetly watching at a distance. at least to civilians.
P: blowing one's own brains out on a firing range? with a long rifle?
B: It was supposedly a pistol.
B: While in New Orleans one of the "guys" I was stationed with said the reason Freer snapped was he was supposed to be going on leave and was caught with a Calvin and Hobbes magazine on post. I know that was a lie because we weren't allowed to take leave of we were less than 6 months short (before you leave Japan) and Freer went to Japan the same time as I did. I was 4 months short at the time so I know it wasn't about leave it was BULLSH*T.
B: Another guy named Rhodes stripped down to his skivvies running through the rice paddies and ran up to my post at Kamisaya asking for ammunition. I told him to go to the guard shack and they would give him some. He was hogtied in the shower when I got off about 10 hours later and then never seen again.
B: There was a lot of people getting out on section 8's (gone crazy) while I was there. I have a few hoax stories from Japan and California also. Those inverts love putting on shows.
P: please post more!! as a civilian-only who knows little to nothing about military and marines stuff, i guess i don't fully understand what's going on here :B
H: Im also interested in anything you remember. Military "guys" being big phonies is something ive always felt. Its great to hear how true it is.
