INVERT TRAFFIC LOOPER, may 2019

B: I didn't even notice the license plate. I left my shop but forgot my coffee mug and when I turned around to get it I was behind that truck. After grabbing my coffee mug I pulled back on the street behind the same truck. After it made its first loop another truck from the same company fell in behind it. The depressed looking guy sat in the back even though the passenger seat was empty.
B: It rained here yesterday but not a drop today so it's custom wasn't even needed. We work while they act like they're working.
H: Government CON-struction types almost never are doing any work. They also get paid enormous ammounts of money (prevailing wages i think is what its called). Probably why they get ordered to constantly be doing nothing.
H: A big part of how babylon funding works is 'you dont use it you lose it'. Cities have to constantly keep up appearences of making improvements which demands funding. Takes 15 years to build an overpass because yhen you just funded trannies for 15 years for a single bridge rather than getting it over with in a month.
H: When stuff is private, things operate more normally. Private roofer companies the martins arent as fat and lazy. When they decide to put up a new mcdonalds they can have the whole thing up in a month. So why does it take a decade to put in an offramp? And why loop around aimlessly rather than fix potholes and sidewalks and pick up garbage?
P: ^ best comment EVER on this. it's a huuuuge problem in my craphole of a city. all this obstructive construction that hurts small businesses, and for what. nothing.
H: All for what? To put in another strip mall even though theres already 3 of them that are half empty or full of ever-changing niche stores with no customers
P: rather than put new buildings up, they rip up perfectly fine roads and sidewalks in high traffic areas, and then... something??? for half a year. then put it back together. i guess. what was even the point of all that.
P: my city HATES HATES HATES pedestrians. being on foot is a NIGHTMARE even in summer.
H: Hey man, gotta fix the cracks in the sidewalk in front of the palm reader / wild bird seed store.
H: Pretty sure locals just fix the residential potholes themselves most of the time. Since waiting for the city to do it might never happen.
P: the government probably DOES just delete taxes. argh.
H: Theres NO WAY they waste the time actually taking acount of everything. Its fake monopoly money. Just delete everything you take in and create it wherever you want it.
P: contrast with cashier box countouts.
B: We have multiple casinos here and some of our roads are worse than game trails. Before the casinos ever came they said most of the tax money collected would go towards our roads but they've only gotten worse. Anything an inverts in charge of will turn to sht. Hell this whole world is sht.
H: They do always push gambling by telling you pproceeds go to charity. Yeah right... hah
