I've never once looked into this stuff myself, but i know what's in popular culture and what we see in all sorts of media. portrayals of complex rituals with drawing symbols on the floor, dotting it with candles, sacrificing a small bovine, chanting, etc.

or "eye of newt, tongue of frog" or whatever. what up with those, those things are nasty.

  • why are LED candles not good enough to dot the sigil on the floor with?
  • can you chant in any language or does it need to be english?
  • why eye of newt, surely purer and better chemicals could be used for... whatever's brewing.
  • why do you need a cauldron instead of a big regular pot?

and so on. got any thoughts, add them.

I know a gal who drank a witches brew to induce birth (she was late). I don't remember all the ingredients, but castor oil and champagne were among them. It worked, but the baby came out giant. And now it wears 18 month old clothes even though it's not even 6 months old.

Edit: Another woman is thinking about taking the same brew if she ends up late (it's getting close). Will let you know if this baby ends up being a giant as well.

They are both very small women so if it happens twice it would be very strange.

erm that sounds like moonbumps and a purchased child sourced from somewhere else...

did the 'newborns' look like they were already a few months old?

Moonbumps? And you're saying they bought the child?

Na, looking like a newborn, just big.

well, i seen some veeery suspicious things. i don't know these particular people or this situation, but i've seen some weird shit that came with very lousy 'explanations'. so it's possible. or maybe something even weirder than moonbumps and secret baby purchases is going on.

My mtf cousin had 'her' baby within like 4 months or something. The baby just came all of a sudden when they should have still been pregnant.

i know some baphomet kids i went to school with, their stories were they were premature and they'd often sit on the floor and go "oops i can't get up, someone help me get up". these were MTF too.

some normal girls said they were a bit preemie but seemed completely alright.

They like red candles for satanic seances. I bet looking up amazon reviews for red candles would be interesting.

red candles. i've heard of black candles. blacklights used to fascinate me as a child. they show you interesting things. i don't think red dyed wax could do that.

i had a class with a very open witch, with two kids once. everything 'she' did was tied to satanism, open and blatant. talked about weird inks made with rat blood or blood of other small animals, gotta be used with dip pens. while searching for dip pens online, i found listings for these products.

that stuff is hella corrosive. why can't iron or stuff with the same elements as blood be used instead? it's chemically the same, right?

The connection between black lights, and light wavelengths we cant see, and their connection to bodily fluids, is a strange thing

it also makes me think of insects. we're told bees and butterflies can see colors we can't. now i don't know what to believe about things i can't corroborate myself, and i don't want to dissect eyes. once we were told dogs only see black and white, some years later we were told dogs are blue-yellow colorblind. changing stories.

There's the possibility, you know, that this is just how things are portrayed in the media to make these people look super loony. Same way they portray southerners or white males. I've met some people who do random "magic" work and take it very seriously; and by "take it seriously" I mean objectively experiment and produce repeatable results. To observe your mind's eye is to peek behind the curtain; there's lots of information to be gained there, if only you'd be willing to listen. But I'll drop a hint: a major component of ritual is tangible reinforcement.

The real work is being done in your mind— the physical acts are mostly just a representation of what you're doing, to assist in making sure you follow all the right steps. You're working with energy, not physical objects. Some people need to do these things because their human incredulity and doubt block them from being able to do it any other way. You could simply cross your legs, in a meditative pose, "astral project" out of your body and do the ritual there— and if anything, doing it said way would have greater efficacy due to being performed in a space which is "closer to the source."

interesting, thanks for contributing. could be representational, could be misdirection, who knows.

Check out "The Art and Practice of Astral Projection" by Ophiel or "Magic: An Occult Primer" by David Conway. The latter covers (and corrects) a lot of the misconceptions surrounding "magic." It's almost impossible to read it and not leave with a refreshed pragmatic view towards the subject as a whole. Ophiel's books are strictly practical, and give a strong insight in to the whole "mental" thing I'm talking about. Ophiel was a one-of-a-kind guy who bruteforced most of his knowledge— refusing to join any occult societies to gain his insights, so that he wouldn't be oath-bound to secrecy. He was sabotaged at every turn, because of this. I have both books (and more) in epub format, if you want 'em.
