I used to have that happen a lot as a kid. Same dream repeatedly on many different nights too. Stuck in an underground maze forever.

similar. early 20s had a couple years where most dreams were having to save loved ones from all sorts of disasters/dangerous situations.

Your dreams are made up by your mind, either things you’re worried/excited about or seemingly unrelated..try to figure out if they do have meaning. Are you taking drugs (legal/prescribed or recreational)? That can have a huge effect. There’s a painkiller that is very commonly prescribed that gives me night terrors, far, far worse than nightmares.

But then there are dreams that are warnings, or premonitions. Pay close attention and try to record your dreams to look for a pattern. But I’d stay awake or try to record recurring dreams. I have several recurring dreams that I’ve had since I was a kid, and they weren’t about anything real (that I’m aware of), but I get a bit freaked out because I remember having the same dream many times, long ago.

Something is weighing on your mind? Not necessarily what the dream was, but something.

Edit: yes, btw. Got out of bed and started the day on the second dream is my solution. Take a nap later in the day if you need to.

Tons of shit weight on my mind, but nothing that had to do with these dreams, at least I think?

...nothing that had to do with these dreams...

My point, yes. It's easier to look backwards, you'll have better vision. It's stress. Stress can manifest itself in many ways. Stress can drag a man down by his soul. Find the root cause(s) of the stress and eliminate it. If not completely, then go one stressor at time until its gone. Or until your more comfortable managing the stress.

Sometimes I think my brain is totally unfit for this world.

I sometimes wonder if 5G tower close to where I live is doing it to me too. Not really stressed, nothing new happening, and then suddenly around 3AM wake up, and back to sleep with same weird dream.

I know you hear "dreams are weird" but it feels more weird that it's the same one every time.

This happens to me frequently, it is usually about a problem that I need to solve. A problem in my dream, not a real life problem. It frustrates me because when I wake up I think about the dream and the problem and it is either not really a problem at all so there is no solution or if it really is a problem I know the solution when I am awake but when I fall back asleep I am back into the problem and can't figure it out. It's mentally exhausting.

Yes, sometimes it would be a continuation of the dream, as in it picked up where I left off when I woke up the first time. More concerning than that is when you have that same dream multiple times, including waking up in the same spot, going back to sleep and continuing as it did before. Very weird when you know what is coming next and you have to try and fall asleep again.

One step above these dreams are the dreams where you know you are dreaming, and you try to wake up, only to discover shortly after that you are in another dream. I once had a bit of a freak out when I kept waking up in a dozen or so dreams nested in each other. When I finally woke up for real, I was drenched in sweat and crying, it took more than a couple minutes before I was finally convinced that I was actually awake and not just in another dream.
