Well that's interesting because I drank caffeinated tea around 6:00 p.m. tonight and it kept me up till like 12:00. That was my mistake because I don't really drink it all that much. Does caffeine cause crazy dreams?
caffeine is a powerful psychoactive drug, it can cause some unpleasant side effects, including sleep disturbances. Caffeine directly stimulates brain activity, even during sleep, which can lead to nightmares. It can also cause or worsen nightmares indirectly through its effects on the quality of your sleep. If you experience nightmares for no apparent reason, your afternoon cup of coffee might be the culprit.
Well that's some shit, I didn't know that. That's why all those hippie tweakers do these cacao ceremonies. So what's a good time to cut caffeinated tea off if I like to go to bed around 9:30?
