I've had a similar experience recently, except it's a neighborhood and every time I'm there something cataclysmic happens unexpectedly. Such as tidal wave/flood or nuclear explosion in the distance. It's a wierd departure from my regular dreams, and wierd to see the same made up place several times.

This house is often in a different area, sometimes on a mountain by itself, other times it's in a wooded compound with lots of other buildings that I know I own... but it's always the same mountain [the house is multilevel in these dreams] or same compound [just a ranch style but exact same floor lay out].
