Maybe some company training for an upcoming light show Christmas event?

It’s very common nowadays in Asia.

Large amount of drones equipped with RGB leds flocking the sky to create giant animation of animals and sheeeit.

I would be inclined to agree with you, but the laws over here in AMERICA mandate that drones fly with a system called remote ID (drone-remote-id.com), which apparently none of these drones have.

Also, these are not small drones, they are reported to be the size of automobiles (youtube.com)

Great Scott!

Agriculture drones are quite large. They carry spray payloads.

Oh well, I stand corrected then.

It is weird bro.

There were also recent reports of drones over Lakenheath RAF Base (airandspaceforces.com) in England.

If I had to guess, it would have something to do with the relatively recent transfer of Nukes (bbc.com) from the US to the UK, but the drones in NJ have been mostly over the Picatenny Arsenal in North Jersey, rather than McGuire AF base in South Jersey, where the nukes actually would've been flown from.

Like I said, I don't know what is going on, but it is all weird and barely talked about in the media, despite this happening for well over 6 weeks now.
