Coins or metallic objects are very obvious on an xray, they show up as a bright white circle. Even if it was angled wrong and they didn't do a lateral view for some stupid reason it would still show up as a bright white rectangle. You can clearly make out things like staples or needles that someone has swallowed, a coin is much bigger. I call bullshit.
