You’re coming at this as if it’s a Protestant vs Catholic issue to me. But it’s not.
There’s plenty of Protestant denominations with which I also have issues.
The Baptists are second only to the Catholics in terms of being despicable.
Plenty of weird child rape nastiness by those sick fuckers, too.
Again, I’m not saying that the parishioners are pieces of shit. Please hear me when I say that. It seems like you are likely one such parishioner. You’re probably a fine person or strong moral character in real life, despite this little disagreement.
But I will call it as I see it.
And as I see it, most Christian denominations have some sort of nasty fault. But the Catholics, in my estimation, take the cake.
It’s the clergy and leadership, namely.
They are charged with tending to a flock. They aren’t doing it right. Most denominations aren’t.
As if catholics had a monopoly on child rape... More like a monopoly on getting blamed for it in the MSM news cycles...
