The US military is investigating an “unidentified flying orb” after a large, round metallic object was spotted by a spy plane over an active conflict zone, it was reported on Tuesday.

So apparently in the current year the military still uses potato cameras or Sears camcorders from the 1980s to record spy plane surveillance video. We have smartphone cameras nearing 100 megapixel resolutions now, but spy planes still use cameras that would have been used to record that funny video of your dog you sent to America's Funniest Videos in 1987. I will never believe any "video evidence" of any UFO, cryptid or other supernatural/paranormal phenomenon if the video is potato quality in an age of ultra-cameras. That low quality image just reeks of distraction and manufactured hype. I'm not buying it.
