The illusionists, dualists, and whatever these schmucks are calling themselves are wrong.
The brain and body isn't a machine, and the assumption that all characteristics of consciousness must be observable with current technology and/or inferred with mathematics is foolish and vain.
The body and mind is likely more of an antennae, and we don't understand/can't measure what it's tuned into at this point.
