Gypsies have been doing this for decades. A sucker asks them what to do with an inheritance. The psychic says it's cursed and needs psychic cleansing, so bring it in cash. Psychic puts it in a magic bag and says incantations. Then they switch the bag with an identical one filled with scrap paper. Sucker is told to put the bag in a special place without opening it for 2 weeks, then it will be un-cursed. Sucker opens the bag but the gypsy left town a week ago.
