Warns us of the most important and dangerous storm ever to hit the US but somehow cannot give us the name of the storm? It's an important little detail since storm names are published in advance of the start of hurricane season each year. If the time traveler doesn't know the name of the storm, then that's a critical flaw in the time travel story and serves as proof of this being total bullshit.

The "worst hurricane in history" has been predicted to hit United States' east coast as soon as this Sunday on August 14, 2022.

As soon as Sunday August 14, 2022? So not only can they not provide the name of the "worst hurricane in history", but they also cannot provide the precise date of its landfall? I'm not sure which parts of the story "checked out" for you, but these two minor details are really taking the piss out of the validity of the story.
