Ayahusca varies much more I think. I drank it twice in a ceremony in Peru with 3 other people, none except myself had ever been experienced with any sort of psychedelics. My trip lasted about 4-5 hours, the other 3 went much longer 8-12 hrs. Of course there’s a lot of variables that determine trip length. It was very similar to DMT in terms of visuals, but I was much more lucid. I could go into and receed from the trip as I wished. It isn’t as intense either, and while the visuals were similar, I got much more of an animalistic trip from it. I experienced entities or beings of sorts, but it was less personal, like they weren’t paying attention to me I was simply an observer. Where on breakthrough DMT trips the entities I encountered directly were interacting with me. Best I can describe it, is how lsd feels very geometric/synthetic, mushrooms is more organic/natural. Ayahuasca vs DMT is kind of similar to that.
