unless theyre destroying them as a symbolic act of activation. also supposedly there is a time capsule buried under them. they would need to be removed to dig it up

That's definitely a projected/fired munition explosion. As was mentioned in the video, no crater, no outward spalling of shrapnel that would be produced from a planted bomb/IED. Looks like a Carl Gustaf (84 mm High Explosive) round hit it, to be honest

I was talking about a charge, not a projectile, when I was referring to construction work
