ET exists. As to the dynamics of its existence in relation to humans is only theory without government clearance.
From what I have seen, an ET race put humans on this planet.
As to why, I don't know. Mine the gold? I don't think so, there are entire astroids out there that are nothing but gold.
Some say it was to develop a military AI they can use for war against other ETs because they can't war directly. This is a reasonable theory.
Some others say they are here because they somehow gain energy from our suffering and death. Take a look around, also a possibility.
