Watch the second video. The Antarctic Treaty is the only unbroken treaty between most nations on earth and prevents unapproved travel of an entire continent. It costs MILLIONS, and even then they move the goal post. But that's totally normal to ban people from an entire continent, right?

I believe the government lies about as much as they can possibly get away with, after all, nearly everything is a rich man's trick.

I totally agree they want to keep us away from the resources, but I don't think they're tricks. There are a lot of cases of independent expeditions, including a European punk band, getting arrested and jailed, getting fired upon by UN ships, or even totally disappearing.
