I bought this little box online that would say random creepy shit in different intervals and put it in my brothers forced air ducts. Freaked him out for weeks. He actually started sleeping with a loaded 45 on his night stand. Anyway point of the story maybe your brothers an asshole
Sceptical me says the woman from the first floor implanted an idea on your minds and some neighbors was helpin yelling and your girlfriend was played by her own mind, and her state combined with the voice you heard made you believe it was a ghost.
The fact that you heard the voice and you both feeling uncomfortable with the same place makes me think about it .
Funny, I worked ina building once, there was a place that just made me want to go away from it. Some guys felt the same, other don't. There was an electrical panel there, big ass cables going up. I guess some electromagnetic phenomena caused it. The feeling was like fear, almost panic. I just wanted to get the fuck out of there, like if I was something's prey.
Yeah its always doubtful if you aren't there. We honestly just brushed the ladies story off and this was like 7 months later but yeah I have no proof. I do know I was glad she refused to go back
Read my edit about the electricity thing, the feeling was horrible, like a deep fear invading my head. Weird shit.
And you're right, someone who never experienced something like this will have a strong resistance to believe it. But I don't doubt you, I know you believe what happened. I just don't know if what you believe happened really happened.
The electromagnetic thing is something I wish people would study a lot more, or maybe I just need to refresh my reading on it. I believe strong EM fields influence peoples thoughts and feelings and result in them believing in things that simply dont exist or feeling very uncomfortable.
But at the same time, without further study, paranormal believers could argue that a strong EM field empowers spirits and gives them the energy required to influence the physical realm.
I believe they have done studies on this, and ultrasound. Ultrasound is one that definitely accounts for a lot of "paranormal" activity. Nausea, moving objects, distorted vision and hearing, all can be caused by ultrasound
I experienced this and I can tell for sure something there made me feel really bad, and I tried going in and out several times and feeling agony and relief according to my position. I can't prove it, but I'm almost sure em did it.
Just think about the thing about the magnets shutting of parts of peoples brains and making them liberals. If a magnet can make someone retarded, surely a powerful EM field could alter their perceptions at the least. Id be willing to bet that with enough research and development you could make someone see exactly what you want them to with a directed EM field, full body apparitions, disembodied voices, the works.
Ive gone to many places that people have told me freak them out or theyve seen things and ive never seen or felt anything out of the ordinary. Two of my homes have seen at least one death in their walls. Theirs an old decrepit cemetary in my field behind my house. I have challenged and invited every spirit. Nothing.
I am either totally immune to the existence of the paranormal, some sort of paranormal dark spot, or it only exists as hysteria in peoples minds.
Have you obtained any actual documentation on the history of the building? That would be neat. I would love for the paranormal to be real, life would be much more interesting.
But here we just have another story. You were told about a past to the place, i dont believe you were told the truth even about that honestly, it sounds like the sorta BS the crazy cat lady cooks up for halloween. But now you have this idea in your mind that the place has been host to some sorta bad spirituality, and the hysteria begins.
Its an apartment building, sounds like it was probably in a town. Theres going to be noises, voices, creaking, tapping, natural non paranormal sounds. And an old converted building at that.
So your woman thought she saw something, probably out of the corner of her eye. And someone somewhere probably hollared something. Her being a hysterical woman, was startled by this combination, and ran away sobbing. You saw nothing except your hysterical woman, and you heard the same someone holler that she did. So now you say you saw a ghost and spread the BS hysterical lies of a woman, when all you experienced was some dudes voice, in an apartment building, in a town, with people.
Its like a crazy cat lady rumor mill, and thats essentially how every single paranormal encounter ive ever heard about goes.
Ive gone graveyard hopping with women in the middle of the night, if you believe their shit, theres ghosts fuckin everywhere all the time. Pull up a camera with good night vision on it and suddenly the fog is an ethereal form from beyond... every speck of dust is an "orb", and every possom or raccoon is a malevolent spirit and they have to scream at it... pure hysteria based in a lack of understanding that fairy tales are not real
I know when a voice is coming from inside my house or not. I could look up the address if you'd like and you could look into it? It could just be nonsense and all I have is faulty memory. Scared the fuck out of her enough to leave and make us get a new equally shitty place.
You say you know, but you could be very surprised how well some sounds can sometimes travel through and into mysteries ways.
I require proof for belief. Otherwise i wouldnt be glad for kav
Not sure what that last sentence means. We were on the third story and had a quiet neighbor. Like I said it sounds like cheap fiction but it was very freaky in person.
But anyway, it's a good story. It could go well in a show with spooky stories. TBH, I'm glad I never experienced something like this. It would turn my world upside down. The problem with faith (in my case, faith in nothing) is that if you're wrong, dammit, everything you have for certain is not true anymore.
Ghost stories don't effect my belief in nothing. I believe in "ghosts". Have had experiences. But I don't think its ghosts. I think these things we experience sometimes are actually just unexplainable to us right now. We lack the technology. Maybe its parallel universes leaking through. Something like that.
In my opinion, thats the most plausible type of explanation if ghost sightings must be accepted as an absolutely real sighting and not a fabrication of the mind. Extra dimensional beings, universal bleedover, maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaybe even just some sort of creature that operates beyond our current boundaries of understanding reality. But i really really dont think its that stuff, im pretty firmly convinced its just the unreliability of the human mind
I don't believe in anything myself despite this. I do think that if people die in a horrible way or with deep unfinished business they can leave a sort of echo behind but I don't think it is anything like a perfect copy. But we only have five senses and a limited understanding of reality.
