There's that "pointy" aspect, like some sort of "high perssure exhaust" phenomenon; it's not the shape of the object inside it's the shape of the force field/plasma around it http://www.al.t.u-tokyo.ac.jp/PPT_plasma.jpg it looks solid because it's stable, it looks pointy because it's what plasma circulating around looks like

idk just throwing ideas, I'm no expert, it's just that the shapes are odd... In a odd way that reminds me of this
