At this point, as much as I hate to say it, we really need a civil war. This crime of keeping over 100 people imprisoned without trial is about the greatest crime a government can perpetrate on the citizenry. (Sure there are worse things, but this, and the implications of it, is way up there.)
The people "in charge" need to be forcefully removed and there need to be adjustments to the architecture of the government in general.
