Universe was bad even if it had nothing to do with Stargate. It was, on its own merits alone, a shitty show. I'm about due for another SG-1 watch though. Atlantis was great too in its own way, but not quite as magical as SG-1. I like to start Atlantis around season 7 or 8 of SG-1 I think it was when the timelines crossed.
Universe lacked two key ingredients that made the other ones fun to watch: Humor and team spirit.

Universe is the only SG series I watched. Its been at least several years.. maybe closer to a decade, I don't remember much about it at all really, but I watched the whole series and I didn't hate it. I guess I should find a way to watch SG1.
Just search "watch Stargate SG1" on Yandex. That's how I find stuff to watch when I don't have it, but I actually have the Stargate box set on DVD.
