The cringiest thing about Star Trek is Star Trek. Except for DS9, that was the best.
TNG had its share of cringe and stupid scenes and experimented with early woke story lines but overall I would say it was a good series. Voyager could have been good but when they brought in Jeri Ryan they had turned sex appeal to 11 to keep viewers. Even Kate Mulgrew admitted to that in interviews.
DS9 was pure gold. I think the ending could have been a tad better if they did it over 3 episodes (which some have claimed was the plan but jews and shekels).

That was pretty obvious to anyone with more than two brain cells. I realize that's asking a lot of the fandom, but still...
Thankfully Ryan was able to do that otherwise it likely would have been canceled.
The problem is Ryan kept a bad show going. I stopped watching after season 5 started. I only came back to it later after torrenting it and aside from a couple of episodes, it was same formula. Ship runs into a problem, blah blah blah, Janeway uses waman powers that should have gotten them killed but script armor. Tune in next week for the same shit.
