get a raspberri pi and setup octoprint thats what you want to send files from the PC and control the printer The slicer doesnt make anything. it does exactly what it says. It slices the models you have down into layers and generates G code(the code your printer understands) for each layer. The models, for starting. just grab your first few dozen prints from thingiverse. You need cad software (tinkercad again - stupidly simple for basic things) to generate a model to feed to a slicer. for a slicer. I like ultimaker cura. but "slicer" also works well
