The bajorans and the ferengi were the analog for the duality of jews. The ferengi are the hand rubbing merchant side of the jews who purvey filth and degeneracy while grabbing all the shekels and power they can get their hands on. The bajorans represent the perpetual victimhood of the jews. They were allegedly hall-of-costed by the Cardassians who are portrayed as evil Nazis even though there was never any conclusive evidence of such a thing happening. The bajorans are treacherous parasites who squeezed all they could out of the Federation because 'muh victimhood'. Both the ferengi and bajorans offered nothing of value to the Federation and the galaxy would be better off without them. Interesting how this compares to our real jews.
