This guy predicted earthquake activity in the last couple months. After five days of continuous flaring from sunspot group 4055, Earth's global electric circuit is now more charged than normal, which is likely to make the solar storm soon to hit Earth stronger geomagnetically than expected, and both of these factors could make magnitude 6+ earthquakes much more likely to rupture.
