It was hardly a civilation ender. It might have smoked a city in India so I'm seeing this as a negative.
We all know that if a big one hits we probably are not going to see it coming... If we do see it coming it is even MORE likely that the government(s) won't tell us because of the panic and knowing they can't do shit about it.
