A multi Billion dollar lesson in DEI/Affirmative action. At least it has not killed anyone (yet).

From the post:

>Over the weekend, NASA finally announced its decision: Boeing's plagued Starliner is coming back empty-handed. Instead, NASA astronauts Butch Wilmore and Suni Williams — who flew up on the troubled capsule — will get a ride on board SpaceX's Crew Dragon in February. It's an extremely unfortunate development for Boeing, a company that has been battling with Starliner's development for years now. Technical mishaps, supply chain issues, and many years of delays have resulted in a whopping $1.6 billion budget overrun since 2016, Reuters reports.

"Boeing's other businesses aren't terribly vulnerable to disruption," aerospace analyst Richard Aboulafia told Reuters. "But space? That's another story."

Good to know those pesky Max planes falling out of the sky and killing hundreds of people isn't a disruption.

Killing astronauts is worse public image than killing a few hundred in a airplane. Not a lot of people go to space so if you kill them then you are high on the shit-list.

Astronauts and their fucking astronaut privilege. Makes me sick.
