Cobbling together decades-old spy technology and extinct videotape, the scientists of "McMoon" breathed new life into photos that were once hailed as the "pictures of the century."

They can want all they like. I won’t ever be convinced the “space race” was anything more than a Cold War PR stunt in the same vein as the Olympics.
