We only got maybe 90%-95% but yeah it was neat. My kids really enjoyed this once in a lifetime chance that also happened seven years ago.

Was cool to see the whole white neighborhood outside watching.

That blew my mind. I've seen a couple of partials, but this was a huge qualitative change. That the moon is the exact right size, distance and orbit to cause this to happen is God's signature on His creation. This isn't a result of anything functions, it exists simply for God to say I AM.

Totality was so cool. It was like dusk in every direction.

I honestly didn't notice. I got busy fixing something and it was gone.

It was prettt neat, wasn't expecting to see the plasma activity. Unfortunately my area of sky was mostly cloudy, so the other planets weren't very visible. Lucky the clouds didn't block the totality, partial was in and out of the coulds.

Kinda suprised the clouds dimmed the sunlight enough for it to not be visable with glasses on.

Also lucky that the thunderstorms that were forcasted didn't come through.

Yeah, if I had realized the show was going to be that good, I would have made popcorn!

Truly an amazing thing to witness! It was so surreal as if I was walking around in half day half night. I could feel the shadow.
