PA Announcements at Starbase indicate SpaceX is preparing to static fire the engines of Ship 26. The ship is currently placed on the Suborbital Pad B in Boca Chica. Ship 26 is a special Starship that does not feature aerodynamic surfaces. It is unknown if the vehicle will be used for flight testing. The window for today goes from 8 AM to 8 PM local time. The road was closed earlier.
Ship 26 was previously cryo-tested twice at the Suborbital Pad A at Starbase in February and currently features six installed Raptor engines. The test on Monday saw the Ship getting frosty before a detank.
