I guess with returns being a variable they'll find that they can't casually count on the weather to cooperate in their favor for the launch, landing, and recovery. In future, they might develop a drone ship with a retractable scaffold and netting system to help them keep the rockets in place after recovery. Either way, it'll eventually wash up on shore.

Just bad luck this time with heavy seas when transporting. It'll eventually work, I'm sure.
