It's more than just (downdetector.com) Facebook, WhatsApp, and Instagram.

suffer worldwide outage

there is no "suffering" here. They're intentionally doing this (pic8.co).

Kill switch.

Facebook is going through a major crisis

FakeBook has no crisis because it's fake. It's a fake crisis.

a company focused on growth and its own interests instead of the public good.

That would be all companies. I can't think of any company that exists for the good of the public. In fact, even government agencies no longer act on behalf of taxpayers.

Well, given the lack of advertising or other means of revenue, I would say Poal exists for the good of the public.

easier to purge content when sites are down, then when theyre up. Wouldnt want anyone archiving and downloading the wrong ideas, now would we?

Gab is down too.. so all that talk about having their own diff servers was a lie lol

gab kinda sucks though

compared to the other social media sites it certainly does not.

to me it all depends on what you use them for. FB has good groups, instagram not too sure about that one. twitter is for tits and youtube has good music. anything else i have no clue and the 3 i mentioned i dont dig deeper than that.

Trying to show their users "see, you need us".

DNS translates an address like “facebook.com” to an IP address like 123.45.67.890.

That would do it.

The outage sparked panic among businesses that rely on the site? HAHAHAHA. What dumbfuck business owner relies on zuckerfuckbook?

Wish they would stay down.

If your life is ‘suffering’because facebook, instagram, ad nauseum are down…you have no life.
