I've been at my IT job now for 24 years. About 15 years ago, I started noticing the size of some of my co-workers who had been there for 20+ years, and the size of their chairs. At that point, I became the first person where I work to work standing up, and I have definitely benefited from that decision. All of those folks have since retired, and many of them are dead. Being a fat ass is a choice that one makes. I am convinced of that.
